Stories in Art
Schedule This TourLegends from Ancient Mexico, stories of Ganesha’s sweet tooth, the labors of the hero Herakles, and tales of the Samurai spark students’ close examination of art. Students will explore a range of mythical and historical stories in art from around the world, learn new vocabulary, and they draw conclusions about the characters, setting, details, and main ideas in art and stories.
Admission is free for scheduled, confirmed tours for Early Childhood, K-12 students, and chaperones if booked by the school. Tours booked by commercial travel agencies will be charged $12 per student.
Things to Know
- Tours must be reserved at least two weeks in advance.
- Tours are led by our highly trained volunteer docents.
- Please plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your tour reservation.
- Guided tours will last 50 minutes.
- Students must always remain with their chaperones while on campus.
- Each tour accommodates a maximum of 60 persons.
