Visitor Reviews...

"Easily accessible from Riverwalk. On the hop on/hop off bus route as well. Fantastic collections. Need a couple of hours at least to fully explore. Good rainy day activity. There was a John Marin visiting exhibit during my time at the Museum. Very worthwhile stop in San Antonio."

—TripAdvisor user from White Rock, Canada

"Congratulations: very unique Museum! Well done in concept! I've enjoyed the special atmosphere, and will come again."

—Fritz Lord from Germany, Handwritten Comment Card

"Every time my family and I visit, there is always something new to see. This is by far my favorite museum. Staff is super-friendly, and price is worth all the great artifacts you get to learn about. You can get lost with all its beauty."

—Marissa, Facebook

"I absolutely love this art museum. It has a very welcoming feeling as you walk through the doors. The artwork is breathtaking. The layout is well organized. The staff is very friendly. I loved that my children loved it, I loved it. That doesn't always happen as often as I'd like."

—Free Irish/Mexican American Girl, Google

"Absolutely amazing! Plan to stay a few hours, though, to get the full enjoyment. Fruit for the soul, this place...the San Antonio Museum of Art was a definite highlight to my trip to Texas. Thank you to all the people who donate and loan art for our enjoyment and enrichment. I throughly enjoyed viewing most of the world through the eyes of some very talented people."

—Tammy and Donnie McLean, Facebook

"The San Antonio Museum of Art is incredible. It is definitely a must see and one of the best art museums I have ever been too. The staff is friendly, facility is clean, and every corner is packed with something new and exciting to look at. Price is fair for what you see, the River Walk is attached towards the back of the area and they even have a restaurant that serves up delicious food. My family and I spent hours exploring and learning things no other museum has ever taught us."
