Tre Trattoria is open. Reservations are strongly encouraged. Restaurant hours are Tuesday–Sunday, 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Reserve your spot at Open Table or by calling 210.805.0333. For curbside pickup or delivery, place orders online or call 210.805.0333.
Free Tuesday hours 4 to 7 p.m. for Bexar County residents are generously funded by H-E-B.
Free Sunday hours 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for Bexar County residents are generously funded by the Mays Family Foundation.

All general admission, special admission, program fees, event tickets, donations, and memberships are final and non-refundable.
Museums for All program: A reduced admission price of $3 each for up to four persons is offered to families receiving food assistance benefits (SNAP) with the presentation of a SNAP EBT card. Blue Star Museum: We offer free admission for active duty military including National Guard and Reserve, and their families (12 and older, up to five people) from Memorial Day through Labor Day with presentation of a military ID.
SAMA is a Museums on Us participant and offers one FREE general admission on the first full weekend of every month to Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders.
Alamo Colleges, Texas A&M University-San Antonio, Trinity University, University of the Incarnate Word (and affiliated Brainpower Connection Schools), and UT Health San Antonio students, faculty, and staff receive FREE general admission to the Museum with their school IDs.
Valero Energy and H-E-B employees receive FREE general admission with their company ID.
General admission for families receiving food assistance benefits (SNAP) is $3 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card through partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services' Museums for All program.
All VIVA Culture Route riders receive a $2 discount on general admission when they show their bus ticket.
Look for the brightly colored city VIVA Culture bus. One route stops in front of the Museum and another stops on Broadway at the corner of our street, Jones Avenue (viainfo.net). The double-decker hop-on-hop-off City Sightseeing bus also stops in front of the Museum.
SAMA is on the Museum Reach of the River Walk with a landing for GoRio riverboats and taxis (goriocruises.com).
A San Antonio Bike Share station is located in the Museum's parking lot. You can rent a bicycle at one of more than 65 locations, leave it at our station while you're here, and pick another one up when you're ready to go (https://sanantonio.bcycle.com).
Walk along the Museum Reach of the River Walk. The Museum is a 10-minute walk from the Pearl retail and restaurant complex and a 30-min walk from central downtown hotels with public art along the way.

- $5 flat fee (9:30 a.m.–11:30 p.m.)
- $15 flat fee (11:30 p.m.–9:30 a.m.)
Major credit cards are accepted.

Take a ticket upon arrival to access the lot and obtain validation in the Great Hall.

Just picking up a product from the Shop? Ask your Shopping cashier to validate your ticket (up to one hour).

Dine with Us
Chef Jason Dady serves his artful cuisine lunch, dinner, and brunch in the Museum's historic Hops House overlooking the San Antonio River. Members receive 10% off on food and non-alcoholic beverages. Visitors may also combine a special group tour with lunch.
The San Antonio Museum of Art is committed to serving visitors of all ages and abilities.
Lightweight folding stools that also serve as canes are available by the stairway in the Great Hall, and wheelchairs may be requested from a security guard at the front desk at the time of your visit. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Service animals are welcome in the Museum.
