The Parts of Art
Schedule This TourHow is a work of art created? This tour introduces younger students to the fundamental elements of art, including line, color, and shape. Older students can discover the techniques that artists use to achieve perspective, illumination, texture, and a sense of motion.
Admission is free for scheduled, confirmed tours for Early Childhood, K-12 students, and chaperones if booked by the school. Tours booked by commercial travel agencies will be charged $12 per student.
Things to Know
- Tours must be reserved at least two weeks in advance.
- Tours are led by our highly trained volunteer docents.
- Please plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your tour reservation.
- Guided tours will last 50 minutes.
- Students must always remain with their chaperones while on campus.
- Each tour accommodates a maximum of 60 persons.
