Non-Bexar County residents visiting during Free Tuesday and Free Sunday hours will pay the regular admission price.
During Bexar County Free Hours, a special exhibition surcharge may apply.
All general admission, special admission, program fees, event tickets, donations, and memberships are final and non-refundable. Proof of Bexar County residency required.

Museums on Us Program
SAMA is a Museums on Us participant and offers one FREE general admission on the first full weekend of every month to Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders.
University and Corporate Partners
Alamo Colleges, Trinity University, the University of the Incarnate Word, the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Texas A&M University-San Antonio students, faculty, and staff receive FREE general admission to the Museum with school IDs.
Museums for All Program
General admission for families receiving food assistance benefits (SNAP) is $3 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card through partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services' Museums for All program. Tickets can be purchased onsite only.

Bus
Bus routes 09 Broadway Frequent and 14 Perrin Beitel Skip include stops near the San Antonio Museum of Art (Via Info). The double-decker hop-on-hop-off Old Town Trolley Tours bus also stops in front of the Museum (Trolley Tours).
River Taxi
SAMA is on the Museum Reach of the River Walk with a landing for GoRio riverboats and taxis (goriocruises.com).
Bike
The Museum is an easy bike ride from Downtown San Antonio.
Walk
Walk along the Museum Reach of the River Walk. The Museum is a 10-minute walk from the Pearl retail and restaurant complex and a 30-minute walk from central downtown hotels with public art along the way.

SAMA is now partnering with Metropolis to provide you with a no-fuss parking experience. If you're a first-time user, click here (https://app.metropolis.io/sign-in) and follow the simple steps to register your vehicle. If you're an existing Metropolis member, you're all set! You can simply drive in and out as long as you use the same vehicle already on file.

Dine with Us
Chef Jason Dady serves his artful cuisine lunch and dinner in the Museum's historic Hops House overlooking the San Antonio River. Members receive 10% off on food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The San Antonio Museum of Art is committed to serving visitors of all ages and abilities.
Lightweight folding stools that also serve as canes are available by the stairway in the Great Hall, and wheelchairs may be requested from a security guard at the front desk at the time of your visit. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Service animals are welcome in the Museum.

Pens, markers, weapons, food, drink, gum, and smoking are prohibited in the Museum. Backpacks are not permitted in the galleries and can be checked in at the front desk.
Service animals are welcome, but pets are not permitted on the Museum campus.
Non-professional, souvenir photography is welcome, unless otherwise noted. Flash photography, tripods, stabilizers, and selfie sticks are not permitted.
