Summer Teacher Institute 2022: Utilizing the Arts for Healing in a Post-Pandemic World

SOLD OUT- Two years ago, SAMA hosted a Summer Teacher Institute that helped educators plan and prepare for going remote with their students. The ways in which teachers pivoted and continued to provide excellent experience to students has been inspiring, but we know you are exhausted. This year we will reflect on the past two years and hold space to acknowledge the struggles educators face in the classroom. Topics include building time for self-care, lessons for supporting students through social and emotional learning, and strategies to promote sustainable workloads.
This is a four day, in-person event, held daily from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. July 12-15, 2022
