Join SAMA’s knowledgeable and passionate docents on a guided tour of the Museum’s permanent collections. We have a variety of themed tours that rotate on a monthly schedule. Whether you’re a long-time member or visiting for the first time, there’s something for everyone!      

If you’ve ever wondered how the Romans made those intricate, tiny glass bottles, or how Chinese ceramicists achieved their stunning blue-and-white porcelains, this is the tour for you! Learn about the fascinating processes, technologies, and discoveries behind the art on the How It’s Made tour. 

Public tours are free with museum admission and are offered most Sundays and Tuesdays. Check the online event calendar for availability.
