Free Spring Break Family Day: The Age of Armor
Celebrate Spring Break with free admission to SAMA all day!
Join us for Free Spring Break Family Day, a daylong event celebrating the special exhibition The Age of Armor, on Tuesday, March 12. The Museum will have free admission from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a full slate of family-friendly activities from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Enjoy artmaking activities, explore blacksmithing demonstrations, meet unicorns and trained falcons, learn about historical European martial arts, enjoy live music, and much more!
Freshly popped kettle corn from Sweetiez, lemonade, and barbeque from JCB BBQ & More will be available for purchase.
Online registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Activities and giveaways are available while supplies last.
Paid parking in the Museum lot is available on a first come, first served basis.
Free Museum admission: 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Family-friendly activities: 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

- Storytime: Dragons Love Tacos with the Magik Theater
- Giddy-Up Pony Party (meet real unicorns!)
- Live music by violinist Nathan Bibiano
- Toddler play area by Dream Partiezzz
- Art activities: decorate your own crown, shield, or (gallery-safe cardboard) sword
