Educator Workshop: Community Murals
Local artist Suzy González will discuss the process of creating the mural, Yanaguana, with the San Antonio Museum of Art’s Community Mural Program. She will share her public art experience, the work of other local muralists, and ideas for bringing murals to school campuses. Following the presentation will be a hands-on workshop where participants will each create painted pieces that will all be composed together, illustrating the power of community in art.
