Bring Your Littlest Ones to SAMA

We love all of our visitors at SAMA, but the tiniest ones hold a special place in our heart. There is something magical about opening the doors to a world of art and creativity for infants and their caregivers. While we miss the social aspects and togetherness that were central to our Art Crawl program prior to the pandemic, we’ve made some adjustments so that you can come to SAMA on second Tuesdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. or second Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a self-guided Art Crawl experience.

 
One of the most important aspects of SAMA’s Art Crawl program is connecting sensory development to works of art and language development for infants. Our new baby swag bags are designed to provide you and your infant with the same experience in a one-on-one format. Each baby swag bag comes in a colorful tote bag that’s just the right size for little hands, and inside you will find a ring book of laminated flash cards, looking exercises, suggested artworks to see, and a tactile resource for your infant to use in the galleries.

The contents of our baby swag bags are different each month, with fun themes that are age appropriate and designed for you to have fun at SAMA with your infant. Check the calendar listings on our website for upcoming themes. We hope to see you at a touch-free Art Crawl program soon!
