What do drums, Day-Glo paint, steel, chalk, and television have in common? Find out as you investigate how contemporary artists use surprising new materials and methods to create art. This tour meets many Math, Science, and Fine Art 3–12 TEKS, and is ideal for Math, Physical Science, and Art 3–12 curricula. K–12 School Tours are free for students and chaperones.

Things to Know

Guided tours are 50 minutes long.
The Museum can accommodate up to 60 K–12 visitors per time slot. Please be aware that your original choice for a tour time may already be taken.
Special accommodations will be made for larger groups.
For tours involving K–12 students, at least 2 chaperones are required per 10 students.
Chaperones must be 18 years or older.
Two-week advance reservation is required.

Students, teachers, and chaperones will be admitted to the Museum for free. Admission fees for special exhibitions may apply.
