Educator Workshop

This collaborative educator workshop links the San Antonio Museum of Art’s special Tricentennial exhibition, SA 1718: Art from Vice-regal Mexico with a visit to the Alamo for a discussion of its history and the changes through time.  Examine the past and present of Texas through art making, history and other hands-on lesson plans.  Investigate the concept of Other and the blending of cultures that helped to shape San Antonio culture.   

Registration includes river boat ride from the Museum to the Alamo and trolley ride from the Alamo to the Museum.  Bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy on the river boat.
