Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002), 94 minutes Three Aboriginal children are taken from their parents under government edict in 1931 and sent to an institution where they are taught to re-invent themselves as members of "white" Australia. The firls plan an escape and begin an epic journey back to their families, travelling 1,500 miles on foot.
