From Dia de los Muertos to the ancient Egyptian ritual of the “Opening of the Mouth”, food, drink and ceremony are key ingredients to understanding many works of art in the Museum’s collections. Decorate a sugar skull, study dinnerware from various cultures, enjoy refreshments, and partake in docent-guided tours during this stimulating event designed to deepen students’ understanding of art and world cultures.
