Richard Weisman will discuss his experiences with Andy Warhol and growing up in a home that housed works by Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, William DeKooning, and other prominent figures of the 1950s New York School.  In 1977, Weisman commissioned Andy Warhol to create a series of portraits of famous athletes.  The series is on view in the Great Hall from January 31 – April 27, 2014.  Also on view is Warhol’s portrait of Weisman.
