Explore the educational, cultural, and entertainment offerings of the Broadway Reach in a four- day celebration of history, art and nature. Each member organization—the Brackenridge Park Conservatory, the McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Botanical Garden, the Witte Museum of Art, the San Antonio Children’s Museum, The San Antonio Zoo, and SAMA—will present visitors a family-friendly program during this June weekend.

It’s the perfect opportunity to sample the riches of San Antonio’s “cultural corridor”—and there’s a bonus for enjoying them all. Pick up a Broadway Reach passport at any participating institution during the extended weekend; get it stamped at every venue and you’ll be entered in a raffle to win an iPad Mini. A discounted joint ticketing pass ($44 for adults and $22 for children) will be on sale beginning June 1. For more information and a schedule of events, visit broadwayreach.org.

SAMA’s featured program for the Broadway Reach Community Weekend is the Family Flicks screening of:
Azur and Asmar: The Princes’ Quest
(2006, France)

Free with Museum admission.
Special performances and art activities begin one hour prior to screening; the film begins promptly at sundown. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics. During inclement weather the screening moves to the auditorium.

Family Flicks is a new outdoor film series in collaboration with Slab Cinema and held every second Saturday.
