Free Day at the Museum
Weary cooks, eager shoppers, art lovers, and in-your-way relatives will find plenty to see and do at the San Antonio Museum of Art the day after Thanksgiving. General admission is FREE.
See the art: Special exhibitions: Lethal Beauty: Samurai Weapons and Armor, Fr. Antonio Margil de Jesus: "Patron Saint" of Texas and Danny Lyon: The Bikeriders in its last days on view. (Please note there is a $5 surcahrge for the exhibition Lethal Beauty: Samurai Weapons and Armor).
Shop for distinctive items in our two world-class gift shops.
Sit in our courtyard or at our River Landing pavilion and take advantage of the free wi-fi.
Sup. Enjoy lunch or a snack from Chef Jason Dady''s DUK Truck. On-site 11:00-3:30 p.m.
Stand up and get some air and exercise: walk to or from the Pearl (7 minutes) or from downtown (30 minutes); or ride a bicycle from our B-cycle station.
