Architect Marc Appleton has been named one of Architectural Digest's top 100 designers since 1991. His books include New Classicists and California Mediterranean. His talk will focus on the architecture, landscape, and history of Florestal, his grandparents' house designed by noted architect George Washington Smith.

These lectures are being sponsored by the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art in collaboration with SAMA, the McNay and the Southwest School of Art.  Look for two more lectures in this series next spring.
