Music at the Museum is an innovative musical event with the goal of supporting arts education for school children.  Through the collaborative efforts of two non-profit civic organizations, the San Antonio Symphony League (SASL) and the San Antonio Museum of Art Docents (SAMA), Music at the Museum provides funds to reinforce art and music education programs for students within Bexar county and surrounding areas.  In its thirteenth year, Music at the Museum joins the San Antonio Symphony as a partner to celebrate the city wide Brahms Festival. The evening’s exciting entertainment will include a varied concert program focusing on the music of Johannes Brahms.  Prior to the concert attendees will enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres, a fun-filled wine-pull and peruse a silent art auction featuring selected local and foreign artists.  The extraordinary evening will conclude with after concert conversation, coffee and delicious desserts.
