Museum Hours

Tuesday, Friday, Saturday: 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Monday: Closed

General admission is FREE to the public Tuesdays from
4–9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.–12 p.m.

We are open Labor Day 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. + there will be extra Matisse: Life in Color hours: open every night until 9:00 p.m. Monday September 1 - Sunday, September 7

The Museum will be closed on the following holidays:

Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year's Day
Easter Sunday
Fiesta Friday (April 24, 2015)

The San Antonio Museum of Art is a Blue Star Museum participant. Active duty military (with ID) and up to five family members enjoy free general admission Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Students* and Military (ID Required): $5
Children under 12: FREE

 

*Please note there is a $15 surcharge to view the exhibition Matisse: Life in Color.
Purchase tickets at the door, in advance online or at 210-227-4826. 
Members are free. 

A surcharge may apply for special exhibitions and events.

*St. Mary's University, Trinity University, University of the Incarnate Word, St. Anthony Elementary School, St. Peter Prince of Apostles Elementary School, Incarnate Word High School and St. Anthony Catholic High School students, faculty and staff receive free general admission to the Museum with their school IDs through SAMA Corporate Memberships.
