Education: School Tours

Docent Led Tours for school groups are given by SAMA's docents who provide 50-minute tours designed to meet school curriculum needs. Tours may also be available in Spanish!

Guided tour times offered during the school year (September-May) are:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am and 12:30 pm
Friday at 9:30 am and 10:30 am.

Guided tour times offered during the summer (June-August) are available Tuesdays-Sundays during normal museum hours.

We can accommodate 10 to 60 students per time slot.  Special accommodations will be made for larger groups.  One chaperone is required per 10 students.  Chaperones must be 18 years or older.

Admission fees are $2 per student and $2 per chaperone.  You may request funding for admission and transportation fees, which have been generously granted by Valero for K-12 public school groups and K-12 school groups with 501c3 status.

A Walk through Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome
