Children and adults can learn together at First Sundays for Families.
Youth can learn together during SAMA's Summer Youth Program called What's in Your Museum?

 

 
K-12 Educators and Students

Learn how to use the Museum as your classroom and resource.  
Tours and workshops, classroom resources and professional development are available at SAMA.

 


University and College Faculty and Students

Discover programs, tours, and materials for children and adults to learn together. Learn how to visit the museum with children.

 

Community Outreach 

The San Antonio Museum of Art is dedicated to bringing art education to San Antonio schools. Through SAMA on the Go, Museum volunteers and educators guide interactive discussions on works of art that enhance the appreciation of art, make personal connections and lead classroom activities that encourage creative expression. This program is free to elementary and middle schools within the San Antonio city limits, though participants are encouraged to donate to help cover costs of supplies. Participating students will receive a Family Pass that provides free admission to the San Antonio Museum of Art!
