General Membership
Circle MembershipCircle members are a passionate group of supporters who share a deep appreciation for the arts and a personal commitment to enhancing the Museum.
Young FriendsAlready a SAMA Member? Simply add $50 per person to join Young Friends. Young Friends is SAMA's newest group of vibrant supporters--from the up-and-coming professionals and art novices to seasoned individuals--who are passionate about the Museum’s collections. The group’s purpose is to promote a love of the arts, cultivate art education, provide social interaction with like-minded individuals, and create an affinity with the Museum. Young Friends members are presented with exclusive hands-on opportunities to learn about the Museum’s collections, collectors and collecting, and to interact with art and culture in a social setting. Each year, 3 to 4 events are planned by the group’s steering committee including SAMA’s annual gala after party. Proposed events include special tours, cocktail parties, happy hours, events at local art galleries and restaurants, and much more! Membership in Young Friends is $50 per person, in addition to Museum membership at any level, and includes complimentary tickets to SAMA's annual gala after party on April 4, 2013.*

Members of SAMA's Friends of the Collections groups enjoy special programs and insights from the Museum's curators while getting an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the collections alongside others who share similar interests. Friends groups also support specific curatorial areas by raising funds for acquisitions, exhibitions and related programs. Museum membership is a prerequisite of membership in a Friends group, but you may join as many as you like.
Membership at the Friend Level is $50; Connoisseur Level is $150.
