Sussan Siavoshi was born in Tehran, Iran, and received her Ph.D. from Ohio State University. She is currently the Cox Chapman Professor of International Relations and Chair of Political Science Department at Trinity University. She is the author of a book on “Liberal Nationalism in Iran: the Defeat of a Movement” which has been translated into Persian, and has also published numerous scholarly articles and chapters in edited volumes on contemporary Iranian politics.
