Thanks to everyone who participated in the Museum Reach Flickr contest.We were overwhelmed with the enthusiasm and number of entries. This is our very first Flickr contest, but it won’t be the last – we appreciate everyone’s comments and the opportunity to learn and refine the contest experience.

Thanks also to our esteemed judges: David S. Rubin, The Brown Foundation Curator of Contemporary Art at SAMA; Mike Adkisson, Art and Architecture Project Manager at the San Antonio River Foundation; and Trish Simonite, photographer and associate professor of art history at Trinity University. Among them, they chose nearly 80 images they deemed their favorites. It made it extremely difficult to narrow this list down to only 12. Eleven winners are listed. The final winning photographer could not be reached in time to participate in the exhibition of work.
