Marketing Administrative Assistant
San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA) seeks an experienced administrative professional to provide support to the Director of Marketing and Communications Manager, as well as assist in supporting other departments and duties in the museum’s Annex building offices.
Qualifications include at least two years administrative office experience in a professional setting, preferably for a non-profit, a museum, or other arts and cultural organizations; marketing and/or public relations experience preferred. Ideal candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and must be highly organized and detail oriented. Strong administrative skills and the ability to effectively meet deadlines in a fast paced, changing, multitasking environment are required. Ideal candidate should have advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software applications; experience in using a Mac a plus. Knowledge and professional experience with social media is preferred. Ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills as well as knowledge of social and business etiquette, and be willing to work museum events during evenings and on weekends, when necessary. College degree preferred.
